Accelerating Primary Care 2008 is the third annual Conference hosted by the University of Alberta and Capital Health. The Conference is a learning opportunity for the primary care community in Alberta, to explore leading practice and innovation to accelerate primary care. It aims to educate and prepare primary care workers by hearing from their colleagues in the field who have led the way in making changes in the way they practice. The Conference will encourage practitioners to revolutionize their practices and policies to continually improve services and outcomes. 2007 Interdisciplinary Conference - "Collaborative Care Models to Advance Patient Safety"

opened September 14, 2007 at TCU Place in Saskatoon. This conference was hosted by the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists (SCP), Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association (SRNA) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS). The conference brought 280 health system decision-makers together from across the province and the country and featured numerous presentations and concurrent sessions by leading health authorities on collaborative practice and patient safety. We have posted these presentations for your review.
