NAPRA typically reviews drug scheduling applications in the order in which they are received in the national office. NAPRA reserves the authority to change the review sequence if it is determined to be in the public interest to do so. Any decision to modify the usual review sequence is determined jointly by the Chair of NDSAC and the Executive Director of NAPRA, in consultation with NAPRA’s Executive Committee as needed. Meeting the posted deadline for submission does not, therefore, guarantee that the application will be reviewed at the corresponding NDSAC meeting.
