Code Source for VICS EDI Standards

The Electronic Commerce Council of Canada (ECCC) is the standards organization in Canada with the authority to distribute and maintain the bar code system of company and product identification.  ECCC is a not-for-profit organization built by industry, for industry to serve and support business-to-business e-commerce communication requirements. ECCC Network Services, (ECCnet), a service offering of ECCC, provides enabling tools for e-commerce advancement including ECCnet, Canada’s National Product Registry, a standardized product registry for synchronized data exchange; Image & Dimension Capture Services and Bar Code Scan Certificates. (www.eccnet.org )

The ECCnet Pharmacy Users Group has engaged the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) as code source for VICS EDI standards. As required by the ECCnet Product Catalog, the following code source documents are located here on the NAPRA site:
